The JEE Advanced 2020 will be a National Level examination which will be conducted twice in the year 2020, mainly in the months of January and April. The examination will be held for the selection of deserving candidates into the different IITs of India. To become eligible for giving this examination, a student should have cleared the JEE Mains which will be basically considered as the preliminary stage for consideration of going into the IITs. According to the sources, the JEE Advanced 2020 will be very much tougher than the previous years. The examination will be held for a total of 372 and there will be 2 compulsory papers of 186 marks each. The papers will be held for the subjects Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. For the first paper, the examination will be conducted for 3 hours and for the second paper too, the examination will be conducted for 3 hours. So, overall the examination will be held for 6 hours. Forgiving this examination, the general category candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in his/her 12th board exam while for a reserved category candidate, at least 65% marks is a must. The JEE Advanced 2020 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency ( NTA) and out of the 2 lakh students who will be selected after the JEE Mains examination, only 15000 students will be selected to go into the different IITs. The candidates willing to give the JEE advanced 2020 exam will be required to register themselves online by visiting the official website as the JEE Advanced 2020 examination will be literally conducted in the online mode. The pattern of the questions will be mostly of objective type with Multiple Choice-Based Questions (MCQ) and there will be clearly negative marking for every wrong answer. The language of the question paper will be both in Hindi and English and the candidates will be required to answer the two papers in any one of these two languages. Both of the papers are compulsory and so, it becomes necessary for the candidates to go through the whole syllabus with utmost sincerity and dedication. There will be 5% of relaxation for the candidates belonging to the SC, ST or PWD category and they should have been born on or after October 1, 1988. For OBC- NCL category, the candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1993. There are some other eligibility criteria such as that a candidate can appear for the JEE Advanced 2020 examination only for a maximum of two consecutive times or else otherwise, he/she will not be eligible to give the examination. A candidate also will not be considered eligible for this examination if he/she has cancelled their previous admission to any IITs or ISM in their past years. The registration fee is different the reserved and the unreserved categories along with the female candidates. For the reserved categories like the SC, ST or PWD, the registration fee is 1300 + GST along with with the female candidates while the general category, the registration fee is Rs 2600 + GST.
