NTA will conduct NEET 2020 on July 26, 2020 as per the announcement by Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in his webinar on May 5, 2020. The exam was earlier postponed till the last week of May considering the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with the extension of nationwide lockdown, further postponement of the exam was already expected by the aspirants.

NEET Exam Pattern:
* NTA has released a notice dismissing the reports about any change in the syllabus of NEET 2020.
* The exam paper comprises 180 multiple-choice questions. While the Physics and Chemistry section comprises 45 questions each, Biology section purview 90 questions.
* National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET is a paper-based test including 180 questions to be solved in a total time span of 3 hours.
* Every question in the paper carries 4 marks.
* Candidates will be rewarded 4 marks for every correct response.
* 1 mark will be deducted from the total score for every incorrect response.
* There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
