IIT-JEE Main 2015 Online Application Form & Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main 2015 Online Application Form:-

* The JEE Mains notification outlines how to submit application form for the exam online. Candidates should visit the official website of the JEE Main exam, fill up all the details and upload their scanned photograph and signature in application form as instructed.

* Make sure that the mobile number and Email ID you mention is correct and remain functional until admission process in the institutes get over. All the communication related to the exam will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID only.

* Once students submit the form and pay the fees successfully, an acknowledgement slip will be generated which they should print out and keep it safe to be used in future.

Note: For the first time this year, the complete process will be done only through online. Students do not need to send any documents to the JEE (Main) Secretariat office.

JEE Main 2015 Eligibility Criteria:-

Date of Birth:-

* General category candidates born on or after October 1, 1989 and SC, ST and PwD category candidates born on or after October 1, 1984 are eligible for the exam.

* Date of birth as recorded in Class X Board/ Secondary Education Board/University Certificate will be considered for this purpose.

* Year of appearance in Qualifying Examination (QE)

* Candidates who have appeared for Class 12 board exams in 2013, 2014 or will appear for it in 2015 will be eligible for JEE Mains 2015.

* Candidates who have appeared for re-examination in Class 12 board exams in 2013 will not be eligible for JEE 2015.

Number of Attempts:-

A candidate will get a maximum of three chances to crack JEE Main. Students seeking admission to institutes in Odisha, Gujarat and Maharastra (other than IITs, NITs, CFTIs, and IIITs) will as many attempts as per the past practice of their respective state-level exams.

Exam Fees:-

Students can pay exam fees either through e-challan or through debit or credit card.

E-challan is generated after you submit online application form successfully. You can carry it to any branch of Canara Bank, ICICI Bank or Syndicate Bank and deposit the fee.

If students pay through debit or credit card, they will have to pay an additional processing charge of 1.20% of the exam fee along with the service tax as applicable.

As per the JEE Mains notification 2015, there have been changes in JEE Main exam fees:
