The Government of India in the year 1975, established a Subordinate Services Commission under an Executive Resolution, which is now known as Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination in four levels (Tier I, Tier II, Tier III and Tier IV) once in a year across India. The SSC organizes exam to recruit for various Ministries and Departments of Government of India and in Subordinate services (Group 'B' type and Group 'C' type).
